UAE announces holiday for Hijri New Year

The UAE has declared Monday, June 15, as a holiday for the public and private sector on the occasion of the Islamic New Year.

The announcement was made the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) on social media platform X.

The authority added that work will resume on Tuesday, June 16.
