The UAE and Chinese militaries are conducting joint air force drills, the Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday.
Under “Falcon Shield 2024,” the annual exercise aims to “exchange experiences and raise operational efficiency on both sides and focus on implementing joint operations to raise the readiness of the participating forces and optimally employ various capabilities to confront air threats,” the Ministry said.
The joint exercise began in China’s Xinjiang region in late June and is expected to continue until the end of July. Last year, the drills were held in August in the same region.
