The UAE's air defence systems engaged 2 ballistic missiles and three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Friday, May 8.
The Ministry of Defence says these renewed strikes resulted in three moderate injuries.
Since the start of the Iranian attacks, a total of 551 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles and 2,263 drones have been detected.
Officials say 230 people have been injured overall, involving multiple nationalities.
They have also confirmed three martyrs, including a Moroccan national contracted with the armed forces, while the number of civilian fatalities stands at 10 (Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, Indian and Egyptian nationals).
The Ministry of Defence says it remains fully prepared to respond to any threats, stressing its commitment to protecting the country’s sovereignty, security and stability.
