A large truck on fire on Al Khail Road, Abu Dhabi-bound, delayed traffic just ahead of the Hessa Street exit on Sunday afternoon.
Four lanes were blocked while emergency services put out the fire.
Dubai Police had taken to their official social media handles to inform motorists about the delay.
