Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has discussed the latest regional developments with Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Fahmy.
During a phone call, the two sides also reviewed ways to strengthen regional and international efforts aimed at consolidating the foundations of security, stability and sustainable peace.
This comes after a ministerial meeting of Arab and Islamic countries proposed to speak on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly next month about Israeli violations in occupied East Jerusalem, calling for urgent international action to halt the violations in the area, as well as its holy sites.
