Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, called Jan Lipavský, Czech Foreign Minister, to express his deepest condolences and sympathy following a shooting at Charles University in Prague.
The shooting resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries, including an Emirati citizen and his wife.
During the call, Sheikh Abdullah wished for a speedy recovery for all the injured and praised the efforts of the Czech government in providing the necessary care and support to the UAE nationals who were wounded as a result of the incident.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed strongly condemned this criminal act, reaffirming the UAE's solidarity with the Czech Republic and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence that aim to undermine the security and stability of countries and the safety of their people.
