A delegation of senior officers from the UAE's Ministry of Defense (MoD) offered condolences to the families of the four UAE soldiers who died in an accident on Tuesday.
In a post on Platform X, the MoD wrote: "A delegation of senior officers from the Ministry of Defense offered condolences to the families of the nation’s martyrs, headed by His Excellency Matar Salem Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, and his accompanying delegation.
"During their visit to the mourning council today, the delegation expressed their sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, asking God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy upon them and to place them among the righteous, martyrs and pious, and to inhabit them in His spacious gardens and inspire their families with patience and solace.

In a statement, His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry said: “We offer our sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs who gave their pure lives while carrying out the mission of transporting some ammunition inside one of the camps in the country. He added that the martyrs’ injured colleagues are currently receiving the best healthcare services in the country, wishing them continued health and safety.”
The Ministry has not detailed the nature or specific location of the deaths. Nine others were also injured in the incident.
