Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not host a public meeting during his visit to the UAE later this month.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) did not mention a public gathering while announcing the agenda of the Prime Minister.
Modi, who is expected to arrive in UAE on 23 August will be received by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Last year, over 60,000 Indian expats attended the PM's public gathering at Dubai Opera House.
The two-day state visit will end on August 24.
