Authorities in Abu Dhabi have rejected rumours about changes to the entry procedures for vaccinated individuals entering the emirate.
The Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee for COVID-19 pandemic has clarified that the process remains the same.
It explained that the current procedure exempts vaccinated individuals with active icons (gold star or letter E) on Al Hosn app from taking PCR tests on day 4 and day 8 of entering the emirate.
The rule is applicable for volunteers in vaccine clinical trials as well as those inoculated as part of national vaccination programmes.
Officials have also called on the public not to fall for rumours and to rely only on information from official sources.
