All schools in Abu Dhabi will switch to distance learning on Tuesday, April 16 due to fluctuating weather conditions, while Abu Dhabi government entities will adopt remote work measures.
Meanwhile, private schools and higher education institutions in Sharjah will activate remote learning on Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17. Sporting activities and competitions organised by the Sharjah Sports Council have also been called off.
Private schools and universities in Umm Al Quwain will have remote learning measures in place for two days, while nurseries in the emirate will remain closed.
Authorities in Ajman also announced the activation of distance learning across private schools on Tuesday and Wednesday.
