Arab Coalition forces have shot down three drones launched by Houthi militia towards civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia.
According to a spokesman for the Coalition, which is supporting the internationally-recognised legitimate government in Yemen, they managed to intercept and down the drones after they were launched by Houthi militants from Yemen's Amran Province.
They had been heading towards civilian targets in the Saudi cities of Jazan and Abha.
The spokesman reiterated that the Coalition would continue to take all necessary action against hostile, terrorist acts carried out by the Iran-backed Houthis, in accordance with international humanitarian law.
