His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced on Sunday a package of housing projects that includes the construction of more than 3,000 housing units in Dubai, in support of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme.
Making the announcement on X, His Highness wrote the value of the projects amounts to AED5.4 billion dirhams.
He said those participating in the Dubai Weddings initiative will be given priority in allocation.
The goal, he said, is to encourage young people to get married and to provide decent housing for families.
It also aims to make life easier and raise its quality for young people who are about to start life, he added.
"Hind bint Maktoum, Hamdan bin Mohammed, Maktoum bin Mohammed and I will continue to support everything that contributes to the prosperity, stability and comfort of our citizens," he concluded.
