Under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, five UAE convoys have entered Gaza with 792 tonnes of relief supplies in line with its ongoing efforts to support Palestinians in the Strip.
The supplies were prepared and loaded onto 59 trucks by the UAE humanitarian aid team in the Egyptian city of Al Arish.
Working at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre, the team ensured the swift reception, preparation and dispatch of relief supplies to the Gaza Strip under an integrated operational system.
The UAE previously sent 416 tonnes of food and shelter supplies earlier in July with the aim of strengthening the response to urgent humanitarian needs.
