Several roads near the airport were closed on Monday morning following a fire that was contained due to a drone incident.
Dubai Police announced routes on the Airport Road and tunnel were temporarily closed, with motorists advised to use alternative roads.
The authority also added Al Garhoud Bridge leading to Casablanca Street was shut temporarily, alongside Cargo Village and Marrakech Street intersections heading towards the airport.
The announcement followed a fire that was contained near the Dubai International Airport due to an impact on one of the fuel tanks following a drone incident.
Dubai Civil Defence teams reaffirmed the public the situation near the airport remained under control, with no spread of the fire.
The authorities also added no injuries were reported at the site.
