Dubai Police are calling on delivery service companies to educate drivers about safety procedures and the critical need for adherence to traffic laws.
This message was emphasised during a recent meeting with major delivery firms, including Talabat, Deliveroo and Noon, where officials discussed the importance of following traffic regulations to ensure the safety of all road users.
Brigadier Jumaa Salem Bin Suwaidan, Deputy Director of the General Department of Traffic, stressed the significance of safe motorcycle riding practices to prevent accidents and protect both drivers and pedestrians.
The meeting addressed essential safety guidelines, preventive measures for road users, and the dangers posed by motorcycles on the road.
Recent accident stats involving delivery riders were also reviewed, leading to proposals aimed at reducing these incidents.
