Cleaning and sanitisation operations are being stepped up in Dubai in preparation for Eid Al Fitr.
Elaborate arrangements are in place to keep the city's markets, beaches, highways and other public spaces clean.
The municipality will be deploying its workers across different shifts during the Eid break.
Inspections are also being stepped up in food outlets with the authority keeping a close watch on restaurants, sweet shops, bakeries, kitchens and the fruits and vegetables market.
Checks are also being intensified at laundries, salons and spas, considering the increased demand for their services during the festive period.
