The 84-member team includes 72 cleaners and 12 supervisors who will work around the clock to ensure over 19 km of Dubai's beaches remain spick and span.
They will work across three shifts per day, with the beach areas around Deira and Bur Dubai covered by 48 workers, and the beaches of Al Mamzar covered by 24 workers.
"The municipality has provided 216 waste collecting facilities at the beaches of Deira and Bur Dubai with each spaced 50 metres apart. The field teams are also following up on the provision of cleaning services on the night beaches that were recently launched in Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3 and Umm Suqeim 1, spanning a total length of 800 metres," said Eng.
