The 'International Dairy and Juices Products Factory' in Al Ain Industrial City has been shut down for repeatedly violating safety and hygiene standards.
According to the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), insects were found in the facility's production areas and unlabelled food items were stored in the refrigerator.
Some of the products also had false manufacturing dates on them.
Three previous warnings had been issued to the factory.
Thamer Rashed Al Qasemi, ADAFSA's spokesperson said: "The administrative closure order will continue as long as violations are in place. The facility will only be allowed to resume its work after improving its condition."
