Sharjah is expanding its free, COVID-19 testing campaign to cover all neighbourhoods in the emirate.
It comes after a 10-day screening campaign kicked off in the Al Nahda area yesterday.
Organised by the Ministry of Health and Prevention in coordination with the Sharjah Police, the campaign will be carried out in 10-day periods for each residential area.
The public will be alerted two days before the schedule via SMS, and must carry their Emirates ID when heading to the mobile screening centres.
It’s part of efforts by the authorities to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus through early detection and treatment.
