Dubai Police in cooperation with Dubai Tourism have issued a fine of AED 50,000 to the organiser of a private home party for breaking the COVID-19 rules.
In addition, every participant at the event received a fine of AED 15,000 each.
A video of the party has been posted by the Dubai Media Office on Twitter showing a crowd gathered in a room.
The event violated the social distancing and precautionary measures to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
