The UAE has confirmed 1,717 new cases of COVID-19 from 237,479 tests.
Another 1,960 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 422,696.
Meanwhile, five more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,438.
A total of 440,355 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 16,221 are currently active.
The Ministry of Health conducts 237,479 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 1,717 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 1,960 recoveries and 5 death cases due to complications. #TogetherWeRecover
