Dubai Police took action after a video of the party, attended by several media personnel and an Arab celebrity, went viral on social media.
The footage showed guests not wearing facemasks or following the physical distancing rules.
Brigadier Jamal Salem Al-Jallaf, director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations at Dubai Police, added that every guest who attended the party will be summoned and fined AED 5,000.
