Final preparations are underway for the "Union Fortress 10" military parade, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
Key forces, including the Land Force, Air Force and Air Defence, Presidential Guard, Joint Aviation, National Guard, and Abu Dhabi Police, have joined forces with the Ministry of Defence, along with other supporting entities from governmental, semi-governmental, and private sectors.
The past nine editions of the "Union Fortress" have travelled to different emirates since the inaugural event held at Abu Dhabi Corniche in March 2017.
This year's parade, being held in a 26,000 capacity arena at Al Ain International Airport, will start at 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 13.
The Ministry of Defence will also host an entertainment village for children and families at the site. Open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, the village will feature various events and entertainment activities, in addition to a dedicated space where visitors of all ages can learn more about the role of the Armed Forces in safeguarding the nation.
