All cafes in Ajman are now allowed to stay open till 1:00 am.
According to the emirate's Emergency Crisis and Disaster Team, the new rule is effective from Monday, March 15.
Social distancing protocols will remain in place with tables spaced at least two metres apart, and only four people per table.
It is also mandatory for employees of the cafes to take weekly PCR tests, except for those who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Authorities in Ajman had previously ordered the eateries to close by 11:00 pm as part of efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.
