A new remote working policy has been announced for Ajman government employees.
According to national news agency WAM, Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, representative of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman for Administrative and Financial Affairs, has issued a resolution, detailing the partial or full-time systems.
As per the new rule, some employees can work remotely the entire time, while others can opt for partial work schedules that will allow office logins daily, weekly or monthly.
Each department will be allowed to choose the system that suits them.
Workers on probation and those who need to be physically present in their offices are exempt from the new system.
