A restaurant in Abu Dhabi's Mafraq Industrial City has been shut down for repeatedly violating food safety rules.
'Khushab Darbar Restaurant' was pulled up for offences related to food handling and storage, as well as poor hygiene levels.
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) said that the outlet also neglected the cleanliness of refrigerators, kitchen equipment, floors and ceilings.
It will be allowed to reopen only after rectifying these issues.
The authority urged the public to contact the hotline 800555 to report complaints and concerns related to food safety.
