Authorities in Abu Dhabi are taking further measures to reduce the stigma related to mental health issues.
Free psychological support is now being provided through the Istijaba hotline (800 1717), which is linked to the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi's Medical Operations Command Centre.
Callers will be able to connect directly to a licensed specialist for a confidential consultation.
The service is available in six languages, including Arabic, English, Hindi, French, Malayalam, and Tamil, to ensure that many social segments can benefit from the initiative.
.@DCDAbuDhabi, in collaboration with @DOHSocial, @adphc_ae, @SEHAHealth and @maanabudhabi, has enhanced the mental health support service on the ISTIJABA hotline by enabling callers to directly connect to a licensed specialist for a free, confidential consultation. pic.twitter.com/FnpfuehzeJ
