The UAE has confirmed 889 new cases of COVID-19 from 226,920 tests in the past 24 hours.
Another 816 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 980,178.
One patient has died, taking the total number of fatalities to 2,338.
A total of 1,001,445 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,929 are currently active.
