A 5.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of Oman on Thursday morning.
According to the UAE's National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the tremor was recorded at 7:24 am in the Arabian Sea at a depth of about 10 km.
The NCM added that the UAE was not impacted by the quake and it was not felt by residents.
