All 13 people on board a cargo ship that caught fire at Khalid Port on Wednesday morning have been rescued.
A team of firefighters rushed to the site after the police operations room received an emergency call around 6:44 am.
The blaze was brought under control at 7:25 am, and cooling operations completed by 2:00 pm.
Officials said 6,000 gallons of diesel, 120 exported vehicles and 300 vehicle tyres were gutted in the fire.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
