One person has been arrested after a shooting incident in the eastern German city of Halle left two people dead.
Police have warned residents to remain in their homes as they work to "stabilise the situation".
According to reports, the attack took place near a synagogue and the gunman was wearing military camouflage and carrying several weapons.
