Restaurants in Saudi Arabia will no longer need to have two separate entrances - one for families and women and another for unaccompanied men.
On Sunday, the Saudi ministry of municipalities clarified that the new rules are not mandatory, and restaurants could still maintain separate entrances if they choose to do so.
It's unclear if the segregated seating areas inside restaurants would also be eliminated.
In fact, there was no announcement if similar rules will apply in schools and hospitals.
