New Zealand police have closed Dunedin airport late Sunday following a report of a suspicious package on the airfield.
According to reports, the police are at the scene and specialist teams have been deployed to determine the nature of the package.
Dunedin Airport is currently closed. Any passengers whose flights have been cancelled this evening - please contact your airline.

The Christchurch gunman who carried out Sunday's mosque attack is believed to have lived in Dunedin.
Meanwhile, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Sunday said she received the gunman's 'manifesto' barely nine minutes before the attack.
