Kuwait's Chief of the General Army Staff announced its air defence forces intercepted hostile missile and drone attacks early on Monday.
The authority noted that the explosive sounds heard are a result of its systems intercepting the hostile attacks.
The public has been advised to adhere to the security and safety instructions during this period.
