An aide of India's most wanted criminal has been arrested in Mumbai.
Afroz Wadariya, also known as Ahmed Raza, was arrested at Mumbai airport on his return from an overseas trip on Wednesday.
He was one of Dawood Ibrahim's closest assistants.
According to police officials, Wadariya operated the global money laundering chain or 'hawalaa' for Ibrahim.
Ibrahim and his aides operate organised crimes in India and are the prime suspects of the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts that killed over 300 civilians.
