Further steps are being taken to ensure the welfare of workers from Pakistan heading to the UAE.
According to a new MoU between the countries, the job offer has to be signed by the employer and employee before the individual departs Pakistan.
Workers will also have to undergo pre-departure and post-arrival training and awareness sessions.
The agreement also has provisions for the quick settlement of labour disputes.
