Balik Alindog with Chia Seeds (Recipes)

You might have heard of Chia Seeds multiple times? It has been around over the last century and so, but still, there are people who aren't aware of its benefits.

Consumed like whole grains, this pseudo-grain are carbohydrate-rich seeds of a nongrass plant. When chia seeds encounter liquid, they expand and form a thick gel. They’re loaded with essential nutrients like omega-3s, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. Chia also packs an impressive three grams of protein and five grams of hunger-crushing fiber per tablespoon.

There are articles available saying that chia seeds can promote weight loss. This is because they are filling and high in fiber, they keep you fuller longer. They may, therefore, help prevent overeating.

Chia seeds are also relatively high in calories and fat. Two tablespoons have 138 calories and 9 grams of fat (1 gram saturated). When used in moderation, chia seeds may help you feel more satisfied and less likely to eat too much. If you eat too many throughout the day, you may go over your daily calorie limit.

Since it's the season where a lot of us in search of "Balik Alindog" programs, why not we include chia seeds in our daily diet. Below are two of my favorite recipes for Chia Seeds for Weight Loss.
