Terms and Conditions

Yas Winterfest 2024 Caroling Competition - Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility and Entry Requirements:

• The Yas Winterfest 2024 Caroling Contest is open to Filipino caroling groups minimum of 3 and maximum of 10 members.

• All members of each group must be 21 years of age or older.

2. Judging and Selection:

• Five finalist groups will be chosen based on factors such as creativity, musical quality, and festive spirit.

• The selected groups will be invited to perform at Yas Winterfest on December 14, 2023, at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

• ARN’ decisions on the finalist selection are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

3. Final Competition and Prizes:

• Finalists will compete live at Yas Winterfest 2024 for the top three prizes:

• 1st Place: AED 5,000 cash prize

• 2nd Place: AED 3,000 cash prize

• 3rd Place: AED 2,000 cash prize from Tag 91.1

• All prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives or other substitutions will be provided.

4. Attendance and Travel:

• Selected groups are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and any associated costs to attend the event on December 14, 2023, at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

5. Publicity and Media Consent:

• By entering, all participants consent to the use of their performance and likeness in Yas Winterfest promotions, including but not limited to social media, radio, and promotional materials. No additional compensation will be provided for such usage.

6. Code of Conduct:

• All participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward the organizers, audience, and other participants throughout the event.

• Any group or member found engaging in inappropriate behavior may be disqualified from the competition.

7. Disqualification and Withdrawal:

• ARN reserves the right to disqualify any group that does not adhere to these terms and conditions or any that fail to provide a valid video link or meet other entry requirements.

• If a group wishes to withdraw from the competition, they must notify the organizers at least 72 hours before the event.

8. Modifications and Cancellations:

• ARN reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at its discretion if circumstances arise beyond its control.

• Any changes will be communicated to participants promptly.

9. Disclaimer:

• Yas Winterfest and ARN are not responsible for any travel or other expenses incurred by participants for the competition or for any technical issues that may arise during video submission or the competition itself.

• By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Yas Winterfest, ARN, and their affiliates from any claim, liability, or damage that may arise from participation in the competition.

10. Disputes

In case of any dispute, ARN's decision will be considered final.
